Longwan valve industry technology innovation as the main theme, the first phase of land construction of 500 acres of science and technology industry base

Recently, the National Torch Plan Longwan Valve Industrial Base has been officially approved. It is reported that this is Longwan's first national Torch Program characteristic industrial base.

The valve industry is one of the major traditional pillar industries in Longwan District. In recent years, Longwan District has given full play to its location advantages and industrial advantages, highlighted the gathering of valve industry characteristics and projects, continuously issued preferential policies to optimize the investment environment for software and hardware, and attracted a group of output products with good efficiency, high technological content, and strong driving ability. High-tech valve projects landed, forming an industry cluster consisting of general-purpose valves, stainless steel, casting, forging, actuators, flanged pipe fittings, seals, and standard parts, and some companies already have participating countries. The ability to make localization of major equipment projects.

The construction of the National Torch Plan characteristic industrial base is an important measure for the Ministry of Science and Technology to accelerate the development of high-tech industries. The successful establishment of the base will create favorable conditions for the development of the Longwan valve industry. This year, the first phase of the area will be arranged 500 acres of land to build Longwan Valve Technology Industrial Base, as the core area of ​​the valve provincial high-tech industrial base. At the same time, 20 acres will be planned for the construction of the infrastructure project of the Wenzhou Pump & Valve Research Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology. Once completed, it will become a base for valve industry scientific research, scientific and technological exchanges, results transformation, and technical training in our region, which will strongly promote the acceleration of the valve industry. .

At present, Longwan District has approximately 1,400 various types of valve manufacturing enterprises, employs about 40,000 people, and products account for a quarter of domestic strength. Last year, the total output value of the above-scale industrial valves in the district reached 4.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%.
