Vegetable fertilizer characteristics and fertilization points

1. Cabbage vegetables These vegetables include Chinese cabbage, big green vegetables, small green vegetables, black and white vegetables, rapeseed, etc. The edible organs are leaves. The production features are large leaf areas, large transpiration, but shallow roots. Therefore, higher soil water content and fertile soil ensure that sufficient nitrogen fertilizer is supplied during the whole growth period, which is the key to the high yield of Chinese cabbage. In the later stage, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be sufficient, and timely and appropriate application of trace elements is necessary. Chinese cabbage is calculated in tons of products. The absorption of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is 0.8~2.6 kg of nitrogen, 0.8~1.2 kg of phosphorus pentoxide and 3.2~3.7 kg of potassium oxide. The absorption ratio is 1:0.5:1.7. The requirements for trace elements are mainly iron, followed by calcium, zinc, boron and manganese, and copper is the least. Foliar application of 0.25% to 0.5% calcium nitrate solution can significantly reduce the incidence of dry heartburn caused by calcium deficiency in Chinese cabbage.

2. Green leafy vegetables include spinach, lettuce, celery, spinach, leeks, sage, and scented scent. The edible part is mainly soft leaves, petioles or stems. The production is characterized by shallow roots and rapid growth. The demand is large. Celery is based on tons of product, and the nutrient uptake is 2.55 kg of nitrogen, 1.66 kg of phosphorus pentoxide, 3.67 kg of potassium oxide, and its absorption ratio is 1:0.5:1.4. Celery is a kind of potassium-producing vegetable. Potassium can promote the thick and full of petiole, and has good gloss. It is beneficial to increase yield and improve quality. Calcium deficiency can cause celery heart rot; spinach is sensitive to copper deficiency, silver deficiency and zinc deficiency; Lettuce is sensitive to zinc deficiency, copper deficiency and molybdenum deficiency. Therefore, spraying multi-micro-fertilizer on such vegetables has a certain effect of increasing yield.

3. Solanaceous vegetables These vegetables include tomatoes, eggplants, and sweet peppers. The edible organs are all fruits. The growth characteristics are the result of buds and flowers. Therefore, we must pay attention to the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, and ensure the balanced supply of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrients, and pay attention to the application of trace elements such as calcium, iron, manganese and zinc. Tomatoes in terms of tons of products, the nutrient uptake is 3.18 kg of nitrogen, 0.74 kg of phosphorus pentoxide, 4.38 kg of potassium oxide, and its absorption ratio is 1:0.5:1.5. Spraying 0.5% calcium oxide solution during fruit setting can control tomato umbilical rot and improve fruit firmness, which is conducive to storage and transportation. Tomato is sensitive to iron deficiency, manganese deficiency and zinc deficiency. It should be sprayed with multiple micro-fertilizers early to prevent physiological diseases such as yellowing, variegated leaves and lobular diseases.

4. Melon vegetables These vegetables include cucumber, pumpkin, zucchini, melon, loofah, bitter gourd and chayote, etc. The edible organs are all fruits. In fertilization, we should pay attention to the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, and ensure the balanced supply of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrients, and pay attention to the application of trace elements such as manganese, copper and calcium. From the trend of nutrient absorption, the nutrient absorption of cucumber is 4.1 kg of nitrogen, 2.3 kg of phosphorus pentoxide, and 5.5 kg of potassium oxide. The absorption ratio is 1:0.6:1.3. Cucumber is sensitive to manganese deficiency and copper deficiency, and early spraying of multi-micro-fertilizer has a good yield-increasing effect.
