Second, the combination fixture
(I) Overview The combined fixture is a standardized, serialized, and highly generalized process equipment. China has been promoted and used since the early 1960s, and it has been basically popularized. Each city and major factories have their own combined fixture stations.
The combined fixture is assembled from a set of pre-fabricated standard components and fittings of different shapes, different specifications and different sizes.
The combination fixture is generally a special fixture assembled for a certain process of a certain workpiece, or can be assembled into a universal adjustable fixture or a group fixture. Combination fixtures are available for all types of machine tools.
The combined fixture transforms the one-way process of designing, manufacturing, using, and scrapping the special fixture into a cyclic process of assembly, diffusion, cleaning, and reassembly. A few hours of assembly can be used instead of a few months of design and manufacturing cycles, which shortens the production cycle; saves man-hours and materials, reduces production costs; and reduces fixture area and manageability.
The components of the combined fixture are highly accurate, wear-resistant, and fully interchangeable. The component accuracy is generally IT6 to IT7. For workpieces processed with combined fixtures, the positional accuracy is generally up to IT8 to IT9, and can be adjusted to IT7 if carefully adjusted.
The main disadvantages of the combined fixture are large volume, poor stiffness, large one-time investment, and high cost. This limits the application of the combined fixture.
Third, CNC machine tool fixture
In modern automated production, the application of CNC machine tools has become more and more extensive. When CNC machine tools are processed, the movement of the tool or table is controlled by the program and is carried out at a certain coordinate position.
The following points should be noted when designing CNC machine tools:
1. The origin (setting point) should be set on the CNC machine tool fixture.
2. There is no need to set the tool guide for the CNC machine tool fixture. This is because the machine tools, fixtures, tools and workpieces always maintain a strict coordinate relationship when machining CNC machines. There is no need for guiding elements between the tool and the workpiece to determine the position.
3. CNC machine tools often need to machine the workpiece in several directions, so the CNC machine tool fixture should be open.
4. Adjustable fixtures, assembly fixtures and combination fixtures should be used as much as possible on CNC machine tools. Because the workpieces machined on CNC machine tools are often produced in small batches, it is necessary to use fixtures with good flexibility and short preparation time.
5. The clamping of CNC machine tool fixtures should be firm and reliable and easy to operate. The position of the clamping element should be fixed to prevent the component from colliding with the tool during automatic machining.
