Shanxi Aluminium Repair Workshop Completes New System Deaerator Modification

Recently, the overhaul workshop of the thermal power plant passed the decommissioning and reformation of the deaerator of the new system, successfully solved the problem that the temperature of the deaerator retreat was higher, the temperature of the cooling water used in the roaster increased, and the alumina production index was affected.

The deaerator of the new system needs to discharge water due to a variety of reasons, leading to an increase in the water temperature of the deaerator retreating into the chemical low-temperature water tank, resulting in an increase in the temperature of the cooling water used in the roaster, and even affecting the alumina production index. In this regard, the relevant sections, production workshops, and overhaul workshops of the thermal power plant have been thoroughly investigated, analyzed, and diagnosed. It is proposed that the optimization of the deaerator dewatering pipeline of the new system be implemented to further optimize the production process.

The reform took full advantage of the existing pipelines, and added more than 50 meters of pipelines, so that the deaerator retreat from the original into the low-temperature desalination tank pipeline into high-temperature water tank. During the renovation process, the combatants overcame the unfavorable factors such as narrow space and open-air operations and climbed a 10-meter-high tank. With the cooperation of the crane, the task of joining the fork in the pipeline was completed. It has been put into operation and has achieved good results.
