The cause of the accident is still under investigation. According to preliminary judgments, it was caused by a leak in the gas pipeline. At present, Beilun Safety Supervision Department has been involved in the investigation.

Firefighters reminded that after a gas leak, when the concentration reaches the explosion limit, once an open flame is encountered and the static electrode is prone to explosion, everyone must pay attention to safety when using flammable or explosive gas.

1. The furnace to be ignited should be carefully inspected, and at any time, check whether the burner switch is closed tightly, whether there is leakage, whether all the flue valves are opened, and the negative pressure in the furnace is ensured before firing.

2. When stopping and sending gas, the downwind side must manage a good open flame. When the fire is running on the gas equipment or pipeline in operation, the normal pressure of the gas should be ensured and only electric welding and gas welding are allowed. At the same time, protective personnel must be present.

3. Any gas equipment that is discontinued must be cleaned of residual gas in a timely manner until it is qualified.

4. When the equipment is put into operation after maintenance, before sending the gas, in addition to strictly inspecting and accepting according to the standard, it is necessary to carefully check whether there is a fire source and whether there is a possibility of static electricity entering.
