Floating roof type large storage tanks rely on buoyancy of the crude oil to lift the roof to a proper position, so it is necessary to make sure there is no crude place of the inside wall. The traditional way is to grinding manually which is labor and time consuming because of large quantity of welding seam.
 
In 2006, AUTO successfully developed Girth Seam Grinding Machine which are widely applied into various project constructions for crude oil tank and LNG tank, capable of automatically processing the welding seam surface.
 
It enjoys popularity by many customers for its characteristics of high efficiency and low cost. It also solved many problems in traditional welding seam surface treatment, including labor consuming, low gouging efficiency, high labor intensity.
