Air respirator test content and actual application

(A) Air Breath Test Contents

1, for different brands and different capacity of the air breathing apparatus, the use of different working hours under the intensity of use (residual gas alarm valve before the alarm);

3, stability test, that is, the cycle of time, observe the different brands of air respirator during the use of the pressure gauge changes;

(two) test methods

The artificial field operation method was used to test in three different ways: low labor intensity (sitting), medium labor intensity (fast pace walking at average speed), and high labor intensity (weighted climbing). All personnel who participated in the test had a full set of protective clothing for fire fighting, and they were equipped with guide ropes, waist axes, gloves, and call for help.

(c) Test procedures

A number of air breathing apparatus and some personnel participating in the test were sampled and grouped. The cylinder pressure of all air breathing apparatus was adjusted to a uniform value (25-26 MPa), and walking and weighting were performed in accordance with meditation, average speed, and walking. (D) Stability Test

In carrying out the weighted boarding test, the staff observed the digital changes in the pressure gauges of 15 brands of air respirators from 5 brands for a period of 2 minutes. (5) Effect on gas supply when the gas supply valve is rotated more than half but not fully opened

For the air respirator supply valve is not fully open when there will be a serious shortage of gas supply time or gas supply interruption of the statement, the tester extracted four brands of 6 air breathing apparatus for special testing. The tester took the valve of the gas supply valve for 2 revolutions (full rotation needed to rotate 3-4 turns) and carried out the load-checking. The tested condition was: Before the residual gas alarm valve was alarmed, all 6 air breathing apparatus could be used normally. After the air alarm valve issued an alarm, except for the use of one air breathing apparatus, the use time of the other five devices exceeded 5 minutes. In spite of this, we cannot rule out the impact of some branded products on the air supply time of the airbags because the air supply valve is not fully opened. Therefore, we still emphasize and require that the basic unit commanders must completely open the air supply valve before using the air breathing apparatus. .

(6) Whether there is icing on the outside of soft-pressure catheters of air respirator under high labor intensity and affects the gas supply

During the 15-person wearing air respirator load test, it was found that when the user is in a state of high labor intensity, the outside of the air respirator's middle pressure soft catheter, especially the metal interface, will be compressed by the cylinder due to the large amount of compressed air. One or more frost layers appear through the medium pressure soft tube to the breath valve. The frost layers produced did not affect the supply of gas from cylinders or the breathing of operators from the perspective of the use of the tested personnel.
