Reporter: What is the current status of the stone industry? Zou Chuansheng: In 2011, the overall production and operation situation of the stone industry has improved. In 2011, the national stone industry sold about 400 million square meters, and the number of enterprises with sales income of more than 20 million yuan was 2,146. Previously, large stone enterprises have achieved a good market share through establishing stable strategic partnerships with large real estate developers such as Longhu, Zhonghai and Vanke. However, with the frequent introduction of real estate control policies, the volume of commercial housing in first- and second-tier cities has plummeted, especially in the high-end property market such as villas, which has had a great impact on the stone industry. Reporter: How will stone enterprises respond to this change in the engineering procurement market? Zou Chuansheng: At present, there is a new force in the stone engineering market. Some stone processing enterprises have transformed into material integration suppliers, providing systematic and refined services. They use their position and familiarity in the industry to organize a group of small and medium-sized enterprises with strong production capacity to supply stone for real estate projects. Reporter: There has been a saying in the society about the radiation of stone. What do you think? Zou Chuansheng: Actually, this is a misunderstanding. Any substance in the world has different levels of radioactivity. The state also has standard regulations on the radionuclide of building materials. The stone association has not come out to clarify this matter in time, so it has caused social Some misunderstandings about the so-called stone radioactivity. Reporter: How is China's standard for stone radiation divided? Zou Chuansheng: The state has different levels of radioactivity in A, B and C. For class A, its internal and external exposure index is 1, internal illumination is 1, external illumination is 0.3, and for natural marble, it is zero. A few, it is similar to our farmland soil standards. For granite, we have tested it for so many years. More than 99% of domestic stone is Class A, and only some materials are Class B. Class A can be used safely in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Class B can be used in some public passages or corridors or in hotel lobbies, and Class C is best used as a building facade. Reporter: How does the association do some work for the public misunderstanding of stone radiation? Zou Chuansheng: In the future, the Stone Association will continue to publicize to the public that the stone is not harmful to the human body. Reporter: What is the future development trend of the stone industry? Zou Chuansheng: First of all, stone enterprises must change the extensive production methods in the past.
