Foshan promotes Pingan Village to strive for full coverage within two years

"We will strive to achieve a 100% coverage of Ping'an Village through the efforts of this and next two years." At the "Safe Village" construction site meeting, Yang Xiaoguang, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and director of the Municipal Comprehensive Management Committee, put forward construction requirements.

The relevant leaders of the five districts of Foshan City who attended the on-site meeting first came to Luenhe Community, Luocun Street, Nanhai, and visited the construction of the “safe village settlement” in the community. In the video surveillance center, Yang Xiaoguang carefully asked about the distribution and operation of the video probe. It is recommended that the monitoring center of the community and public security departments include the internal probes of key areas such as schools and enterprises in the scope of supervision. In the Heshui Town Hecun Community, Yang Xiaoguang and his party visited the comprehensive management center, mobile personnel and rental management service stations, and Kawamura video surveillance room.

At the subsequent on-site meeting, Lishui Town, Nanhai Public Security Bureau, and Nanhai District introduced the construction experience of “Safe Village”. In the past two years, Nanhai District has invested a total of 210 million yuan in the construction of the "Ping Village". It is estimated that the funds for construction and awards in the region will reach 370 million yuan in the past three years. At present, there are 229 village homes that have been awarded the "Safe Village Residence". It accounts for 80% of the total number of villages in the district. By the end of this year, 100% of the villagers will be awarded “Safe Village”. Yang Xiaoguang introduced that since the city launched the Comprehensive Management Campaign in April to the end of August, the city’s effective policing alarm has dropped by 24.4% year-on-year, and criminal filings have dropped by 17.1% year-on-year. At present, the city has built 348 safe villages, accounting for 45.4% of all 767 villages. Yang Xiaoguang pointed out that the South China Sea "Green Village" system is perfect, the evaluation mechanism is tightly grasped, and we must promote the experience of the South China Sea throughout the city. "We will strive to achieve a 100% coverage of the city's Ping An Village through the efforts of this and next two years."

Yang Jianhua, member of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Political and Law Committee, said that Nanhai District has taken the construction of the “Peace Village” as a livelihood project and achieved good results, providing good experience for the whole city. He pointed out that whether or not the society is stable depends on the village's residence, and the "peace village residence" is the "emphasis" for the comprehensive management of public security. Each district must pay close attention to the implementation of the "safe village settlement."
