Approved by the Science and Technology Department of Anhui Province, Bowang Town of Dangtu County has recently become the “High-tech Industrial Base of Blade Mould Machine Tool in Anhui Province”. In 2008, the total industrial output value reached 5.23 billion yuan, an increase of 26.9%; the industrial added value reached 1.56 billion yuan, an increase of 31%, of which the scale industrial added value was completed. 590 million yuan, an increase of 56%, ranking first in the county township. The annual foreign exchange earned by export was 20 million US dollars, doubled year-on-year, accounting for more than 50% of the county's total.
